Biography
Ana Patrnogich-Arieli, M.A.T. is the First-Year Seminars and High-Impact Practices Coordinator for the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). She received her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts from UNLV and her Master of Arts in Teaching from Sierra Nevada University. In addition to working on student success initiatives in various settings, she has been teaching since 2007 and has taught English at the secondary and postsecondary levels. Her previous professional experience also includes working with Adult Basic Education reading and writing students and instructors, as well as leading various professional development projects for teachers. As a UNLV alumna, Ana is excited to bring her passion and experience to the Las Vegas community and to help undergraduate students meet their academic and career goals, starting with a successful first year in college.
