Amber Champion, MD

Biography
Dr. Amber Champion is originally from Washington state, but has practiced in Baltimore and Nebraska prior to joining the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV. She graduated from The Flinders University School of Medicine of South Australia in 2005. She completed an internal medicine residency in Spokane, WA, and an endocrinology fellowship at the University of Arizona in Tucson.
Dr. Champion treats all areas of general endocrinology, but has a special interest in diabetes management and public health. She loves working with residents and students, and often has learners in the clinic, hoping to share her passion for treating endocrine conditions. She enjoys teaching self-management techniques to patients to foster better outcomes and prevent complications.
She lives in Las Vegas with her husband and enjoys spending time with family, travel, the outdoors, and reading.
