Biography
Amanda graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2015 with degrees in biology, psychology, and chemistry. Amanda research focus revolves around GABA (B) receptors in neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease. Additionally, she studies how these receptors affect microglia (macrophages in the brain). Amanda is under the mentorship of Dr. Jefferson Kinney.
