More about Amanda Belarmino
Dr. Amanda Belarmino is an Assistant Professor at the William F. Harrah College of Hospitality at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. Her undergraduate degree is in hotel administration from Cornell University, and her master's and doctoral degree are from the University of Houston. She has twenty years of management experience is casinos, hotels, and restaurants. Her work experience includes 4.5 years with Caesars Entertainment in positions including Property Revenue Manager and Senior Training Specialist. She was the Reservations and Revenue Manager at the Plaza Las Vegas. Outside of Las Vegas, Amanda was a Housekeeping Manager at the Arizona Biltmore, the General Manager of McAlister’s Deli in two locations, and the Director of Food and Beverage at the Courtyard by Marriott Houston Medical Center. She has published work in Current Issues in Tourism and the International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management.
