Biography

Adrianna Wechsler Zimring, Ph.D., is a licensed Psychologist and the Pediatric Programs and Residency Training Coordinator at UNLV PRACTICE, an innovative interdisciplinary community mental health clinic that provides robust advanced clinical training and evidence-based mental health services. Dr. Zimring is a proud graduate of the clinical psychology doctoral program at UNLV and has served as adjunct faculty at UNLV since 2015. Her current position includes coordination of evidence-based pediatric behavioral health services, clinical training and supervision, and the development of a robust pediatric behavioral health training program. Dr. Zimring also works as a subject matter expert for Project ECHO Nevada at University of Nevada, Reno.

Dr. Zimring began her career in the field of education, and holds a master’s degree from Harvard University. Dr. Zimring earned her doctorate in psychology at UNLV. She completed her clinical residency at the University of Washington, and her postdoctoral fellowship in clinical child psychology at Stanford University. Dr. Zimring previously has served as the Legislative Committee Chair and President of the Nevada Psychological Association and as Nevada’s Federal Advocacy Coordinator for the American Psychological Association (APA). She is the founder and owner of The Evidence Based Practice of Nevada (The EBP).
