Aaron has an extensive career in higher education, having previously taught at UNLV, Southeast Missouri State University, Cornish College of the Arts, and the College of Southern Nevada.  Aaron is the author of the textbook On Stage: The Actor’s First Experience and has directed over 20 theatre productions on the UNLV campus. He is credited with creating several new classes and degrees for the Nevada System of Higher Education and received the CSN Excellence in Service Award in 2016.

As a producer, Aaron has managed events, conferences, sporting events, and live entertainment productions for companies such as Microsoft, Disney, Blue Man Group, The Venetian, Wynn Las Vegas, NBBJ Design, and the San Antonio Spurs.

Aaron holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Theatre Directing from UNLV, and a Bachelor's Degree (BA) in Organizational Management from the University of California, Davis.
