Each year, the NSHE Regents recognize one outstanding undergraduate scholar at each NSHE institution with the Sam Lieberman Regents’ Award for Student Scholarship. Awards are based on distinguished academic accomplishments (including research and other scholarly activities), leadership ability, and service contributions while a registered student, as well as the nominee’s potential for continued success.
Recipients must be nominated for this award and meet the eligibility requirements below. The award carries a $5,000 stipend.
The call for nominations will be open until Friday, October 25th at 5 p.m. (Nevada Day). The faculty nominator should compile all required application materials in a single PDF file and submit it electronically by email to our@unlv.edu. Late submissions will not be considered.
