Technology Improvements You Can Expect This Fall

In case you missed it, it’s now easier to install software when you need it without contacting the IT Help Desk, find information you need using a new search feature on the UNLV IT site, and stay connected to eduroam while on campus since WiFi was expanded to the bookstore and physics building.

These are just some of the technology improvements that were made in time to welcome faculty and staff for the fall semester. By the way, did you know you can add Okta Verify on multiple devices for multifactor authentication? It’s a good idea to have a backup device so you can still access services with your ACE account, just in case you forget your primary device.

Check out the technology improvements article for more information, including how to switch to Okta Verify if you haven’t done so already. If you have questions or need technology support for any of the services mentioned, please contact the IT Help Desk.
