Network equipment in the Thomas T. Beam Engineering Complex Data Center is being replaced to maintain the campus network’s performance, reliability, and security. This routine maintenance will require a data center outage from 10 p.m. Tuesday, July 23 to 6 a.m. Wednesday, July 24. 

What to expect during the outage

Campus services will remain available. However, users may experience brief interruptions with internet connectivity or delays accessing some campus applications. Services that may be temporarily impacted include the campus wireless network, MyUNLV, and other campus applications.

Anyone who has issues with their internet connection or accessing campus applications once the TBE data center work is completed on July 24 should contact the IT Help Desk.
