Southern Nevada Diversity 2024 Registration

Registration is now open for the 2024 Southern Nevada Diversity Summit to be held Friday, Oct. 4 at Nevada State University! The Southern Nevada Diversity Summit is a System-wide collaboration that provides annual professional development opportunities to learn about social justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education. This event is free of charge and all faculty, staff, students, and community sponsors are invited to attend. The event is planned by a site and liaison committee made up of members from across NSHE.

This year's theme, Good Trouble: Advancing the Legacies of Diversity & Inclusion in an Anti-DEI Era, is an invitation to our community to have critical dialogues as we get into “good trouble, necessary trouble” for the future of diversity, equity, and inclusion work in our state and nation.

Due to limited seating, in-person registration is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis to NSHE faculty, staff, students, and sponsoring community partners. Sponsoring community partners have been provided an affiliate code for registration. Participants will receive a confirmation email once they register. Advanced registration is required. On-site/walk-up registration will not be available.

Featured sessions will be livestreamed online. Online registration is available to the public to participate virtually. Online registration is required to access livestreamed featured sessions. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with your access code.

Visit our website for more info and to register.

For questions, please email diversitysummit@nevadastate.edu. We look forward to your participation in creating Good Trouble at the 2024 Southern Nevada Diversity Summit!
