The School of Nursing announces that Susan VanBeuge has been named the interim associate dean of advanced education and Rhigel Tan as the interim Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program director.

VanBeuge joined UNLV in 2006 and has played pivotal roles in maintaining the DNP and Masters of Science in Nursing programs. In this new role, VanBeuge will oversee the graduate programs, working collaboratively with program directors as they guide students through their journey to becoming advanced practice nurses.

Tan, who has been with UNLV since 1999, has been involved in the DNP program since its inception, including curriculum development and mentorship. Tan will continue to work closely with faculty and students as they progress through the DNP program.
