RSVP for Marta Meana’s Retirement Celebration

With the recent announcement of Marta Meana’s upcoming retirement from UNLV, the entire campus community is invited to a reception to celebrate her incredible accomplishments and to thank her for her dedicated service. The reception will be held on Thursday, Nov. 7, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Tam Alumni Center.

Meana has been a transformative presence at UNLV since she joined the Department of Psychology in 1997. Over her 27+ years at UNLV, she has mentored dozens of graduate students, served as the dean of the Honors College and as interim president of the university, made significant research advancements in the field of women’s sexual health, and been a positive and supportive force in the lives of so many.

We kindly ask that you RSVP here if you plan to attend the reception. You can leave a personal message for Marta on her Kudoboard. The cut-off for adding to the Kudoboard is Wednesday, October 23, 2024.
