Congratulations to Rian Satterwhite for receiving the Administrative Faculty of the Month Award for September 2024. Rian serves as the Director for Service Learning & Leadership at UNLV and his nominators wrote:

“[Rian] is thoughtful about supporting staff as whole humans, recognizing that the team has complex lives in and out of work, whether staff are concurrent students, have young offspring, or other dynamics in their lives. It has helped create a dynamic of trust and support in our team as folks have navigated some of the most challenging times of their lives and yet they know that they can find support from the department head. “

The Administrative Faculty of the Month award recognizes outstanding colleagues who go above and beyond in their duties in advancing the mission of UNLV. The winning recipient receives a certificate and $150 in recognition of their contributions. Nominations for the October 2024 award are due by October 31, 2024.
