Project Wellness, a student organization aiming to improve mental wellness at UNLV, has helped students mentally, physically, and culturally since its inception in 2023. With members being trained in certified peer education, suicide prevention, and skills for psychological recovery, they are equipped with the resources to reduce mental health challenges on campus. Project Wellness partners with the university’s mental health service, Student Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). Data collected so far indicates positive outcomes for students. The organization’s development, short- and long-term goals, campus partnership with CAPS, and outcomes will be discussed during the webinar.
