Multiracial Research Participants Needed

We are recruiting multiracial adults 18 years of age or older for a research study at UNLV! Alzheimer’s disease is a growing issue, and the purpose of this study is to better understand multiracial adults’ perceptions about Alzheimer's disease research. We need your help!

Participants will be asked their thoughts, opinions, and perceptions about Alzheimer’s disease research through an interview and will also complete a questionnaire. Interviews will be audio recorded and will take place at the CANE Lab on the UNLV campus or virtually via Zoom. Participation will last approximately one hour, and participants will be compensated for their time.

Participant Requirements:

  • Identify as biracial/multiracial (meaning they identify with two or more racial groups)
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Do not have a severe mental illness such as schizophrenia or psychosis
  • Do not have a current diagnosis of dementia (MCI is okay)

If you are interested in learning more about this project, please email us at canelab@unlv.edu or call us at (702) 895-4208. If you know anyone who would like to participate in this research, please feel free to share our contact information!
