Mindfulness & Brain Health Dec. 12

Join us for ‘Mindfulness & Brain Health,' a free community event for students, faculty, and staff hosted at the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art on Thursday, December 12. This campus-wide event offers expert insights and practical relaxation techniques to navigate end-of-semester stress.

There will be a talk at 9:00 a.m. with Chia-Liang (Leo) Dai, a health education expert who is known for his integrative approaches, such as Yoga and body-mind connection. Then, from 10:00 a.m. to noon, choose from a variety of relaxing mindfulness activities including gentle Tai Chi classes, a refreshing mindfulness tour in the garden, a gratitude art workshop, and relaxing Yoga Nidra sessions — all designed to help you find balance during this busy time.

Everything you learn can help you navigate stress with calmness and clarity, with tools that will last a lifetime. Join us anytime during the morning for this free community event. Registration is required and space is limited. For any questions, please email the Brain Health and You Team.
