Congratulations to Sandy Ziegler for receiving the Administrative Faculty of the Month Award for May 2024. 

The nominator wrote:

“Throughout Sandy's tenure, she has consistently gone above and beyond the call of duty, consistently exceeding expectations and embodying the spirit of service. Notable accomplishments include leading major projects to completion including the new Park & Go app for garage availability and parking locations, the car counting infrastructure to compliment the app, an automated payroll deduction process, the faculty and staff single sign-on for parking management system, and all electric vehicle charging availability since inception. These projects have significantly enhanced UNLV’s efficiency, effectiveness, and overall success. Sandy's leadership and innovative approaches have helped propel our university forward in key strategic areas by providing the utmost in service to our faculty, staff, students, and visitors, making a tangible and lasting impact on our institution's success.”

The Administrative Faculty of the Month Award recognizes outstanding colleagues who go above and beyond to advance the mission of UNLV. The winning recipient receives a certificate and $150 to recognize their contributions. Nominations for the June award are due by the end of the month.
