Libraries Summer Makerspace Orientations

Interested in how to incorporate Makerspace activities into a class assignment? Want to tinker and prototype on your own projects? Sign up for a Makerspace Orientation in Lied Library to learn more about our services and what's available for you.

Orientations run Tuesdays at 3 p.m., Wednesdays at 10 a.m., and Thursdays at 1 p.m. (excluding holidays) through Aug. 8. View the full calendar and register for a session that fits your schedule.

The Makerspace is open to currently affiliated UNLV students, faculty, and staff. The orientation is required to access all Makerspace technology and services, including 3D printing and scanning, laser cutting and etching, vinyl cutting and sticker making, sewing and embroidery, and prototyping. The orientation will provide a general introduction to the space, best practices for safety, and ideas for potential projects.

After attending an orientation, you will sign a user agreement and then you may access all Makerspace equipment and services during open hours.
