Host a German Exchange Student

Consider opening your home to a unique multicultural experience! UNLV is a host university for the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) – a prestigious fellowship for 75 German young professionals – for 2024-25. Visiting students live with an American host/host family, complete university courses, and hold a part-time internship. We're currently seeking a host (or host family) for the upcoming academic year for one student. Hosts need to provide a private bedroom and two meals a day; a small monthly stipend is included. Students speak English well; they provide their own transportation and pay personal expenses.

For more information, contact UNLV campus coordinator Kathy Callahan in the Department of World Languages and Cultures at kathy.callahan@unlv.edu.
