Hanna Morris Panel and Lecture on Climate Crisis April 23 & 24

Hanna Morris, assistant professor in the School of the Environment at the University of Toronto, is visiting UNLV's campus on Wednesday, April 23 and Thursday, April 24. 

On April 23 at 1 p.m. in the GUA Auditorium, Morris will be the featured speaker on the panel, "Climate Crisis, Media, and Power in an era of Polarization," which also features Rebecca Gill (UNLV Political Science), Aya Shata (UNLV Journalism and Media Studies), Arthur Soto-Vasquez (UNLV Journalism and Media Studies), and Emma Frances Bloomfield (UNLV Communication Studies).

On April 24 at 7 p.m. in the Barrick Museum of Art, Morris will give a presentation about her forthcoming book with Oxford University Press, Apocalyptic Authoritarianism: Climate Crisis, Media, and Power as part of the University Forum Lecture Series.
