Fall 2024 Service Day Oct. 4

Once a semester, UNLVolunteers sends about 200 students, alumni, faculty, and staff to more than 10 nonprofit organizations throughout the Las Vegas Valley for a day of service and learning about social justice. Participants will get to work with a wide variety of community members, ranging from working on trail building projects in Sloan Canyon to cleaning books for young students in Clark County.

Service Day will be Oct. 4 and is scheduled to start at 8 a.m., with all participants first meeting at UNLV to pick up a free Service Day shirt and a free light breakfast. After a brief orientation and training, participants will head out to their selected site to provide three hours of community service. Once completed, participants will carpool together back to UNLV for a free lunch provided by UNLVolunteers.
