UNLV Information Technology will upgrade virtual desktops using Horizon agent 8.4 to the new client over the week of Monday, Sept. 30. If you use Horizon virtual desktops:
- You will receive a desktop notification indicating the upgrade is about to happen and have the option to click OK to begin the upgrade immediately or snooze the upgrade for up to 15 minutes.
- The upgrade should take less than 10 minutes and will require a reboot to complete.
- If you are not logged in, the upgrade will proceed automatically.
Please note only UNLV staff virtual desktops will be upgraded at this time, IT-managed virtual labs and virtual applications (e.g., RebelApps) are excluded.
