Evidence-Informed Program Planning within Diverse Cultural Contexts Workshop Sept. 6

The Nevada Minority Health and Equity (NMHE) Coalition is offering an Evidence-Informed Program Planning within Diverse Cultural Contexts Workshop on Sept. 6 from noon to 2 p.m. The workshop will be taught by Gabriela Buccini from the UNLV School of Public Health and Kaleigh Mancha from Heart and Sol Collective.

This workshop will provide an overview of how to co-develop an evidence-informed health program that incorporates theoretical and empirical evidence and engages community stakeholders in the planning process. We will provide an overview of the six steps of the Intervention Mapping process, and how a trauma-informed approach can enhance the creation of more effective evidence-informed programs within diverse cultural contexts.

Attendees must register via the NMHEC site.
