Celebration of Life - Rian Satterwhite

Last week we learned the sad news of the passing of our dear colleague, Rian Satterwhite, director of Service Learning and Leadership, on Feb. 12, 2025. Rian’s impact extended across many professional and personal circles, and we welcome all who knew him to gather, reflect, and celebrate him.

In honor of Rian’s memory, we invite you to join in a Celebration of Life this Sunday, February 23 at 2 p.m. at Tiberti Hall in the Richard Tam Alumni Center. The program will include a special tribute coordinated by his wife Bethany, followed by a reception where colleagues and friends can connect and share memories.

Event Details:

Date: Sunday, Feb. 23, 2025

Time: 2 p.m.

Location: Tiberti Hall, Richard Tam Alumni Center, UNLV

Parking: Complimentary parking is available in nearby lots V, B and D, all within walking distance.

Ways to honor Rian’s memory will be shared at the service and upon RSVP.  Please confirm your attendance with your RSVP.

We all share in this loss of an amazing colleague, leader, friend, husband, and father. Rian is survived by his wife Bethany, son Quinn age 14, daughter Adelaide age 10, and many family members.
