Celebrate Academic Integrity Day Feb. 4

UNLV students, faculty, and staff are invited to Academic Integrity Day, a campus-wide event that promotes honesty, originality, and success in education, on Tuesday, Feb. 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lied Library. The event will feature workshops, a resource fair, and expert-led sessions to address and prevent academic misconduct.

Event Schedule Highlights

  • 11 a.m. | Opening Panel: Hear insights from academic integrity experts.
  • 11:30 a.m. | Generative AI in Your Syllabus: Learn how to write clear AI policies.
  • Noon | Time Management Workshop: Discover strategies for staying organized.
  • 12:30 p.m. | Addressing Academic Misconduct: Explore proactive approaches to support students.
  • 1 p.m. | AI-Resistant Assignments: Tips for designing coursework that emphasizes originality.
  • 1:30 p.m. | Writing Success Workshop: Develop a plan for successful academic writing.

Refreshments and light snacks will be provided.

Participants are encouraged to register for workshops and sessions.

The event is sponsored by University Libraries, the Office of Student Rights & Responsibilities, Student and Academic Success, and the Writing Center.
