Cannabis Policy Institute and International Gaming Institute to Host "Cannabis & Gaming" Panel Aug. 13

The UNLV's Cannabis Policy Institute (CPI) and International Gaming Institute (IGI) will host a panel event, "Cannabis & Gaming," on Tuesday, August 13 at 1:30 p.m. in the William S. Boyd School of Law Moot Courtroom. The panel will feature the latest research and discussions on cannabis and gaming. The event will begin with two short presentations of recent research on cannabis and gaming behaviors from leading researcher Jeff Marotta, followed by Marla Royne Stafford. Stafford will discuss her current research on cannabis marketing and preview her research on cannabis and gaming, as well as ethics in cannabis marketing. Next, IGI Executive Director Brett Abarbanel and CPI Director Riana Durrett host a panel discussion on policy status quo and potential for the future of the intersection of cannabis and gaming with esteemed experts Bob Hoban, Jennifer Roberts, and Tick Segerblom.
