Call for Volunteers: Research Recruitment - Boost Treadmill Walking Study

I (Miles Mercer) am currently looking for inactive individuals who have not walked on an air pressurized bodyweight support treadmill previously (Boost, AlterG). This is a 2-day study. The study involves coming to the Sports Injury Research Center at the UNLV campus for a light to moderate intensity walking protocol (about 2 hours each day) at different percentages of your bodyweight. You will walk on a regular treadmill and the Boost treadmill at 100%, 80%, and 60% of your bodyweight on both days. This is a good opportunity to experience a part of the research process and see some of the technology we have in our biomechanics laboratory. Email me if you are interested in participating or for more information at miles.mercer@unlv.edu or Dr. Julia Freedman-Silvernail at jfs@unlv.edu.
