Building Bridges: Harm Reduction and Social Justice June 6

Join Alternative Breaks and the Office of Service, Learning, and Leadership in discussing the crucial role that harm reduction plays in social justice! Harm reduction is a compassionate, evidence-based approach that prioritizes minimizing the negative consequences associated with high-risk behaviors.

We will discuss harm reduction strategies that can be used both personally and when working with the community!

After a short presentation, attendees will be trained on how to administer Narcan/Narloxone in response to an opioid overdose. 

Free lunch, harm reduction supplies, and conversation provided!

Event on June 6 from 1 to 2 p.m., SU Room 213

*Attendees are expected to stay for the full one (1) hour training.
