Breast Cancer Awareness Information Session at Lied Library Oct. 14

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the UNLV School of Nursing, University Libraries, and School of Public Health will host a presentation on Oct. 14 at 12 p.m. inside the Amargosa Room at Lied Library. Dr. Janice Enriquez, assistant professor-in-residence at the School of Nursing, will share information on screening guidelines, self-awareness techniques, and understanding your risks regarding breast cancer. The Engelstad Foundation R.E.D. Rose Program will be on-site to share resources for mammograms, early detection consultations, and more. 

The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
