UNLV faculty are invited to join this 4-week asynchronous, author-facilitated, communal reading experience of Bertram Gallant’s and David Rettinger’s, The Opposite of Cheating: Teaching for Integrity in the Age of AI. This virtual community event, sponsored by UNLV's Teaching and Learning Commons, is designed to bring educators and learners together from across the nation to explore, discuss, and engage with this recently published book on teaching and learning.
Over the course of a 4-week event, participants collaborate, share insights, and engage in meaningful conversations with the author and fellow readers, all within the Perusall platform.
UNLV is also thrilled to announce that Gallant will be the keynote speaker for the second-annual Generative AI in the Classroom Virtual Summit in the fall 2025. You can review the book abstract and learn more about the event here. If you are interested in joining, please RSVP to the TLC and we will pay your registration fee. Registration covers admission to the book club and access to the e-book for 8 weeks.
