August 2024 Rebel Accessibility Hero

For August 2024, the UNLV offices of educational compliance and accessibility resources recognize Young Bok Kim, the UNLV College of Education's director of Information Technology, as our Rebel Accessibility Hero.

Since the spring of 2021, Kim has actively engaged the Office of Accessibility Resources in accessibility procurement processes, assisting the various departments and projects needing to purchase or subscribe to various ICT (information and communications technology). Kim actively worked on various stages of the processes to deepen his understanding of the whats and especially the whys for accessibility purchasing. He also has generously facilitated the scheduling of accessibility-related training sessions and meetings in the Carlson Education Building, providing spaces for CoE administrators, faculty, staff and graduate assistants to meet with the Accessibility Resources Team.

Please join us as we recognize Young Bok Kim as our Rebel Accessibility Hero for August 2024.
