Plans are underway for the Alliance of Professionals of African Heritage 38th Annual Awards Ceremony for students of African Heritage to include the 24th Annual African American Student Graduation Celebration on Friday, May 10, 2024, at 7 p.m. in the Student Union Ballroom. Faculty and staff are invited to attend.
The focus of this event is to celebrate academic excellence and acknowledge the dedication, perseverance, and commitment to higher education; recognize outstanding academic and leadership achievements with the Dr. Roosevelt Fitzgerald Outstanding Leadership and Dr. Thomas Wilson Community Service Awards; and African-Heritage graduates receiving degrees from the UNLV.
