We are reaching out to share an important training opportunity available to students, faculty, and staff — the Active Assailant 8-Hour Training, scheduled for April 14, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the CSN West Charleston Campus, in the Student Union, Rooms 128 & 130.
This comprehensive, hands-on training is designed to prepare participants for emergency situations by providing critical response strategies and interactive, scenario-based exercises that simulate real-life situations in a safe and supportive environment. We currently have 27 seats available and would greatly appreciate your support in encouraging participation.

This information is required in class to complete the post-test and class evaluation. Please have it readily available.
Pre-Test Requirement
Immediately after registering, you will see a link to "Begin Class Pre-Test."
The pre-test must be completed prior to attending the training. Failure to do so may result in removal from the class.
In-Class Information
- The registration site is mobile-friendly and can be accessed via phone, tablet, or computer.
- A post-test and class evaluation will be conducted at the end of the training.
- We highly recommend bringing a laptop or tablet to complete the post-test and evaluation efficiently.
- The post-test is graded immediately, and once passed, a link to your certificate will be available for download or email.
