Right now, UNLV’s Nurse Camp is underway to give high school juniors, seniors and recent graduates an up-close-and-personal look at what it takes to join the field.

A new summer camp at UNLV will introduce kids to the world of nursing.

UNLV is hoping to increase interest in its nursing program this week through a one-of-a-kind event called ‘Nurse Camp.’ It’s also part of a more significant effort to address a nationwide issue of a nurse shortage.
