UNLV's Greenspun College of Urban Affairs recently announced its outstanding faculty award recipients for the 2000-2001 academic year.
The recipients of the outstanding research award were Hong Lu, an assistant professor in the criminal justice department, and An Pyng Sun, an assistant professor in the School of Social Work.
The outstanding teaching award was presented to Terance Miethe, professor of criminal justice. The recipient of the outstanding service award went to Patricia Markos, an associate professor in the counseling department.
The recipients were recommended for the awards by faculty members of the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs.
The college's outstanding teaching award recipients for the 1999-2000 academic year were Joel Lieberman, an assistant professor of criminal justice, and Lisa Rapp-Paglicci, an assistant professor in the School of Social Work.
