The semi-annual yard sale to benefit UNLV's Rebel Recycling Program will take place April 12-14 on the university campus.
On Friday, April 12, the sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. for UNLV faculty, staff, and students. On both Saturday and Sunday, April 13-14, the sale will be held from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will be open to the public.
Items to be sold will include clothing, clothing accessories, shoes, linens, office supplies, books, furniture, toys, small appliances, and other kitchen items. Most items are priced at $1 or less. All proceeds go directly to support the campus-recycling program.
The sale will take place at the Rebel Recycling facilities, which are located on the south side of East Flamingo Road, between Swenson and Cambridge Streets, just west of Maryland Parkway. When heading east on Flamingo, drive past Swenson and then take the first right immediately after you pass the large solar dishes. There is no street sign. Watch for the yard sale signs and the balloons.
