UNLV will welcome the newest members to the Class of 2019 at its Spring Commencement on May 18 at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. inside UNLV's Thomas & Mack Center.
More than 3,000 undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to participate in this spring’s commencement, up slightly from last spring.
- Participants range in age from 18 to 71, and hail from 37 states, the District of Columbia, and 50 foreign countries.
- Approximately 86 percent of graduates are Nevada residents and more than half – 60 percent – are from ethnically diverse backgrounds.
- The average overall age of UNLV’s Spring 2019 graduates is 27.
- Since 1964, UNLV has awarded more than 140,000 degrees.
UNLV President Marta Meana will honor several graduating students during each ceremony for their outstanding academic and community achievements.
