UNLV will host an open house Oct. 16 to provide prospective nontraditional students with information about the many courses and programs that the university offers evenings and weekends.

The open house, which is free and open to the public, will be held 6-8 p.m. in the Moyer Student Union ballroom. Parking is available in the visitor parking lot, which is located in front of the Richard Tam Alumni Center facing Maryland Parkway.

UNLV President Carol C. Harter and Provost Raymond W. Alden will speak at the event. Additional speakers will provide information about academic programs, admissions, financial aid, and student services.
