Two professors from UNLV's College of Hotel Administration will be featured speakers at the 2003 educational retreat of the Southern California chapter of Meeting Planners International being held Sept. 5-7 at the Ritz-Carlton, Lake Las Vegas.
Christian Hardigree, an attorney and assistant professor of hotel management at UNLV, will present "Legal Issues in Meeting Planning," from 3:30 to 5 p.m., on Sept. 5.
Patti Shock, professor and chair of UNLV's tourism and convention administration department, will present "Spectacular Theme Parties on a Budget," from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
