UNLV President Carol C. Harter Wins Football Award

UNLV President Carol C. Harter will be honored by the All-American Football Foundation tonight (Dec. 16) at a banquet at the MGM Grand Hotel.

She will receive the College President's Award, according to Jimmie McDowell, of the All-American Football Foundation.

"I am honored to be selected by the All-American Football Foundation for this award," said Harter.

More than 20 awards will be presented to former athletes, college administrators, coaches, national sports writers, and other officials for their contributions to the world of college football.

Also receiving an award will be UNLV Senior Associate Athletics Director Jerry Koloskie, who will receive the Outstanding Trainer Award, and Gov. Kenny Guinn, who will receive an Outstanding American Award.
