A UNLV plant clinic, sponsored by the UNLV Arboretum, the Master Gardeners, and the Nevada Cooperative Extension Service, is scheduled for July 21, 7-9 p.m.
The plant clinic will provide information about plant and pest problems, new plants used in desert gardening, and general gardening. It will be held in the Xeric Garden, located at the entrance of the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Natural History.
Clinic participants seeking solutions to their pest problems may bring stems, leaves, or flowers for examination. Also, tours will be conducted and volunteers will be available to answer questions.
For more information, call Dennis Swartzell, UNLV's director of landscape and grounds, at 895-3182 or the Nevada Cooperative Extension Service at 222-3130.
