UNLV officials are warning the public to beware of scam artists who claim to be collecting money or selling goods on behalf of the university.

Recently, UNLV has received reports of a young man peddling magazine subscriptions in the southeast part of the valley; he was purporting to be raising money for UNLV's Honors College.

No UNLV academic program is supported in this manner.
