The University of Nevada, Las Vegas' International Gaming Institute (IGI) will host a Slot Leadership program October 17-21 at the Stan Fulton on the UNLV campus.
The program will feature expert speakers on topics related to slot operations and marketing. Each evening, participants will have an opportunity to visit Las Vegas casinos and see how they are applying the ideas discussed during the program. The following morning, participants will analyze their visit and discuss how they can apply the techniques learned to their own endeavors.

The IGI has teamed with Compton Dancer Consulting to create this exciting new course that offers an opportunity to broaden expertise in slot department operations. One of the featured speakers scheduled to appear is Jeffrey Compton, vice president of Compton Dancer Consulting, one of the nation's leading experts on players club designs and related promotions. A columnist for Casino Player, Strictly Slots, Las Vegas Review Journal and Las Vegas Advisor, Compton has assisted in the design and evaluation of numerous clubs across the United States and Canada.
The registration fee for the program is $945 if paid by the early bird deadline of September 26, and $995 if paid between September 27 and October 14. On-site registration will be $1,070.
