WHAT: A panel of UNLV and community experts on children's health, child welfare, education and juvenile justice will discuss solutions to issues of child well-being in Nevada and the importance of children's issues in the upcoming presidential election

DETAILS: Nevada struggles in comparison to many states on indicators of child well-being. The purpose of the panel discussion is to educate the voting public on issues affecting Nevada's children and offer solutions given current state funding shortfalls. The panel will be moderated by Denise Tanata, director of the Nevada Institute for Children's Research and Policy (NICRP) at UNLV. Confirmed panelists include:
