Adults considering attending UNLV for the first time, or who are exploring the possibility of returning after a prolonged absence, are invited to attend an open house 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Aug. 20 or 3-6:30 p.m. August 21.
During the sessions, Jennifer Shadley, re-entry services coordinator, and Emil DeMillo, re-entry counselor, will provide details about the process of returning to school. Topics will include admission and registration, financial aid resources for adults, and information about degree and certificate programs. An overview of campus services that assist non-traditional students will also be provided.
Both sessions are free and open to the public and will be held in the Classroom Building Complex, Room A-112. Refreshments will be served. For more information or to make a reservation for one of these sessions, call Emil DeMillo at 895-4475.
The re-entry services open house is sponsored by UNLV's Jean Nidetch Women's Center.
