UNLV and the University of Nevada, Reno Gerontology Programs in concert with Nevada State College College of Southern Nevada and the Nevada Geriatric Education Center are pleased to offer an on-line option for their respective academic certificate programs. This option encompasses Distance Education courses in Gerontology offered by each institution.

Students can now complete an academic certificate in gerontology at their convenience. The on-line certificate in gerontology will be of benefit to many of those professionals serving elders in rural settings. It is equally appealing to those who work in urban areas who can't take the time during the day for on-campus course offerings.
