Fall semester at UNLV is almost upon us, but it is not too late to apply for admission to the university and enroll in classes.
Students have through Aug. 25 to enroll at UNLV for the fall semester without paying a late fee. Completed admission applications will also be accepted until that date. For admissions information and a free class schedule, please call 895-3443.
Fall semester classes and late registration begin Aug. 28. Students may sign up for classes Aug. 28-Sept. 1, but they will be charged a late fee.
Students, faculty, staff, and visitors to the university are reminded that beginning this fall a parking fee will be in effect for all lots except the Green Lot of the Thomas and Mack Center, which will be maintained as a free lot.
Students will be charged $30 per year for a parking permit, while faculty and staff members will be charged $60 per year to park in faculty/staff lots. Visitors will pay $2 per day or $5 per week.
Parking permits now are available at the Department of Public Safety, the box office at Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall, and the Moyer Student Union.
Revenues generated by the parking fee will be used to build a campus parking garage. For additional information about the parking permits, call 895-1300.
