UNLV Education Program Receives Grant From Microsoft

A UNLV College of Education program has been awarded a $120,000 grant from Microsoft to be used for Microsoft software and materials that will play a role in training teachers how to best use computer technology in their classrooms.

The grant will go to the college's Project THREAD: Technology Helping Restructure Educational Access and Delivery.

The College of Education has been a member of teacher.training@microsoft since 1996.
