The UNLV Center for Business and Economic Research (CBER) will host an economic forum assessing the U.S. and Southern Nevada economies. Stephen Brown, the director of CBER, will discuss prospects for Southern Nevada's financial recovery and provide an update on the U.S. economic outlook.
In addition, Bruce Spotleson, Greenspun Media Group publisher, will moderate a panel on the future of Southern Nevada. Panelists will include: David R. Scherer, executive vice president of Grubb & Ellis; Steve Hill, director of the Governor's Office of Economic Development; Ruben Sigala, senior vice president of Enterprise Analytics for Caesars Entertainment Corp.; and Jason Mendenhall, executive vice president of Switch Communications.
