The UNLV College of Business will recognize Phil Satre, Donald D. Snyder and the late Barbara Greenspun as the 2011 Nevada Business Hall of Fame inductees. The Nevada Business Hall of Fame recognizes influential business leaders who have contributed to the success of Nevada's economy.

Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011. Reception at 6 p.m. followed by dinner and awards ceremony at 7 p.m.

Details

Satre served as chairman of the board of Harrah's Entertainment Inc. (now known as Caesars Entertainment Corporation) and is chairman of the board for NV Energy, Inc. Snyder is the interim dean of UNLV Harrah Hotel College and former president of Boyd Gaming. Greenspun published the Las Vegas Sun and co-founded the UNLV Greenspun College of Urban Affairs. This year's Nevada Business of Hall of Fame marks its 10th anniversary.
